Ideal for wabi-sabi style bedside tables. with antiques between one hundred and one hundred and twenty years old, we have managed to put together a small collection of antique stools made of natural wood. Constructed of solid elm wood, it preserves the original assembly of the time. It has been a huge work of collection and selection to finally collect several copies of antique stools with rectangular shape, all with similar dimensions although there is not one piece alike. Each antique rustic stool has been individually restored according to your needs. Some of them still had traces of earlier paintings. Other rustic stools we have found in perfect condition and it has only been necessary to wax them with beeswax to cover the pores of the solid elm wood and thus be able to resist a hundred more years of life. In many cases, each rectangular stool has required a partial pickling process in some areas to recover the natural wood color. Each wooden stool is unique, with its own imperfections and wounds of past hundred years life. Age of wood: 100-120 years approx.
