Lyrical Blue and Clear Handkerchief Vase With Gold Accents Signed Don Pierce From Corning Museum of Glass

Trained at Stueben Glass to create art from glass, Don Pierce worked from 2000 to 2015 at the Corning Museum of Glass as a Hot Glass Demonstrator. This work was formed before a live audience in 2003. There is a blue accent within the clear glass and a movement suggestive of ocean waves. Edged in gold and finished with a coil of amber glass above the base.
