Vintage Design
Mid-Century wall lamp with flexible umbrella. Probably from Emperor.
A minimalist design. Cubic shapes run through this design, from the screen to the wall plate. The most striking detail is the fine perforation of the front of the screen. A rectangular long holder that breaks the escaping light and dissolves the shape of the screen when switched on. The brass details, which are contrasting to the anthracite -colored light elements, are striking. The base and umbrella are connected via an arm that can be extended via two joints.
The lamp is in good condition with signs of wear and patina. Some brass parts were polished by an artisan and the cabling was renewed.
