Vintage Design
This is a Poul Henningsen’s 1958 design based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The PH5 lamp was launched in 1958: the 5 in its name refers to its 50 cm diameter. The shades are in violet lacquered aluminum. The lamp is in very good condition, has slight signs of wear – slight discoloration on the edges. The wiring has been replaced. It has been tested and is in working order.
