Vintage Design
Pair of table lamps designed in the 1960s by Royal Copenhagen’s chief-designer, Nils Thorsson. They have been produced for the Danish company Fog & Morup. They feature Thorssons’ famous BACA pattern showing abstract birds and flowers.
Ceramic artist and designer Nils Johan Thorvald Thorsson (1898–1975) was Art Director of Royal Copenhagen in the 1950ies.
He created a many different products for the ceramics manufacturer. His work is often presented as an typical example of mid-century Danish modernism and is praised in the field of ceramic design.
The lamps come with new lamp-shades (diameter 25/18cm, height 17cm). Total height 40cm
