Original vintage travel advertising poster titled “Chemins de Fer Algeriens de L’Etat, Le Sud Algerien, Le Figuig” – “Algerian State Railways, Sothern Algeria, Figuig.” The artwork is by artist Alphonse Rey (1865-1938), and features a shoreside or seaside scene with palm trees, and a clay or brick tower overlooking a cliff. Figuig is a town in eastern Morocco near the Atlas Mountains, on the border with Algeria. Printed by Baconnier, Alger. Country of issue: Algeria, designer: Alphonse Rey, year of printing 1926.
