Minimal white metal floor lamp with adjustable arm counterbalancing on cylinder base and halogen light source attributed to Rico & Rosemarie Baltensweiler, Switzerland 1960-70’s. The lamp balances on a ball weight resting on a pillar base that allows precise positioning. Matching floor lamp available in black and in white. Minimal Art movement of the 1960-70’s had a great influence on design. This innovation in design from the 1960’s reflects to Minimal Art and Kinetic Art movements of the period.
